Account Deletion
This page explains how to delete your OmniLink+ account, what happens to your data, and what you should do first so you are not charged again. It forms part of our agreement with you together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. What deletion means
Deletion is permanent. The account profile, our-side subscription/entitlement records linked to that account, device bindings we store, and support history tied to the account are removed from production systems and cannot be restored or transferred. Remaining paid days on our side are lost and are not refunded by the Operator upon deletion.
2. Before you start
- Cancel auto-renewal in Apple Subscriptions if you have an auto-renewing product.
- If you want a refund for an unused period, request it from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com before deletion when possible.
- Note your OmniLink+ username and numeric account ID (shown in the app) for correspondence.
3. How to request deletion
If you are signed in to OmniLink+ on iOS, delete the account in the app (Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v)):
- Open OmniLink+ and sign in.
- Swipe to Network tools & support.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation, then tap Delete Account again to confirm.
The app then submits the deletion with your signed-in session, ends the session, and returns you to sign-in. This cannot be undone from the client. Privacy & Security → Close / delete account only opens this page; it does not itself delete the account.
If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] with subject Account deletion. Include:
- your OmniLink+ username and/or numeric account ID;
- the device model and approximate last-used date;
- confirmation that you have cancelled Apple auto-renewal (if applicable).
For email requests we may ask one further question to confirm ownership. We will never ask for your password. A confirmation is sent once the request is accepted.
4. Timeline
| Stage | When |
|---|---|
| In-app request; access revoked | When the in-app deletion succeeds |
| Email request received; access revoked | Within 7 days of a verified request |
| Confirmation sent (email requests) | Within 7 days |
| Personal data erased from production systems | Within 30 days |
| Removal from encrypted backups | Within 90 days, as backups rotate |
5. What is deleted
- Username, password hash, account ID, and profile fields we store
- Subscription / entitlement records held on our side, and device bindings we associate with the account
- Operational records tied to the account (for example fault reports and care tickets), subject to Section 6
6. What may be retained
- Invoice and tax records for the period required by law (transaction data, not browsing content)
- Aggregated, non-identifying statistics
- Minimised security records of abuse or fraud, kept only as long as necessary to protect the service
7. Effect on your Apple subscription
Deleting the OmniLink+ account does not cancel a store subscription and does not itself trigger a refund. Apple manages both. If a renewal is charged after deletion because auto-renewal was still active, contact Apple for assistance.
8. Cancelling a deletion request
An in-app deletion that has already succeeded cannot be withdrawn. For an email request, you may withdraw by replying to our confirmation before erasure begins. Once erasure has started, the account cannot be recovered. You may register a new account later; it starts empty and does not inherit a previous entitlement automatically.
